Kelly Inselmann
Psychotherapist

Kelly is currently on leave from her private practice until February, 2008. She will begin responding to all professional e-mails at that time.

Kelly Inselmann is a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy to individuals and families. She is experienced in the use of insight oriented individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and group therapy, and recommends a variety of approaches to assist clients in meeting their goals. She works with children and adolescents, adults, and families. She is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is an effective tool for addressing post traumatic stress disorder.

Kelly has a nonjudgmental, open, calm and compassionate manner. She believes in the inherent strengths of all people and encourages individuals and families to remember their wellness.

Kelly is trained to provide therapy in Spanish and has a long history of work with immigrants and refugees. She received an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Tufts University.

Rates:
$95 per 50 minute session

Current Insurances Accepted: Magellan Behavioral Health, Aetna, Victims Compensation, PHCS

If Kelly is not a provider with your insurance company, please note that many insurances pay up to 50% for out of network services.

Yoga Teacher

Kelly studies and teaches kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Kelly began her study of yoga 15 years ago and deepened her personal practice with the study of kundalini yoga beginning in 1998. In 2002, she completed a year long teacher training and continues to study with senior kundalini teachers throughout the country. Currently, she assists in a Teacher Training Program for Spanish speaking teachers through YogaWorks in McAllen, TX.

Kelly has provided yoga workshops for teens in the community at La Hacienda, Yoga Yoga, and through GEN Austin's middle school program.

She is particularly interested in the way yoga helps people break out of old patterns and addictions and find new energy, hope, and vitality in their lives.
